ive left the shadows behind.
ive found a new path
a new road to try
it will take me im sure
to calm, peace, bliss, joy
i will not yearn
for yesterdays that are gone

sorrows, shackles taht ive borne

for dead things to be right again
i have closed the old books

feet no longer fettered, no binds,
my wings il spread to the open skies
