Eternal waits

Who is the other
we keep searching for?
who is the other
we keep waiting for?
if togetherness is a blatant lie,
and whats true is solitude,
then why does loneliness
curse us with lack of fortitude?
what ever the answers,
of one thing im sure
men and women,
arent meant to be together,
its is just that
when our individual journeys
get linked in one of those
mysteriously inexplicable ways
to people from different walks of life
we find ourselves close
but when the journeys diverge,
its time to break free and loose.
so then who is the other,
we keep looking for,
who is the other
we keep eternally waiting for?
