disappointments

disappointments

a persistent aggressive tug
just above the navel on the left,
spittle drop stuck on the left side of the thorax,
slight hot burning sensation
on both sides of temples,
closing on to the eyes
slowly spreading to the cheekbones...

an oscillating mind
between rushing thoughts
and resigned silences..

sleepless heavy lidded eyes
keeping seemingly long endless vigil
to be back on the normalcy road again.

the tug, it is back..
the cycle rolls....
and, thats how a disappointment feels!
