about two days ago, i did something i normally dont do..i added a lady i knew from orkut to a group i am very comfortable with on facebook...i was feeling rather pleased with my self for my match making qualities, i was so sure that both wud take to each other, like a duck takes to water..in fact i was confident that both wud like each other very much...
but to my horror, the very first thread she put up, something about diet ..and one of the guys in that group, accused it of being spam! followed by another member saying that for a new member it did sound suspiciously like spam...
she was non too happy about it, and wrote back in polite language, but later apparently got to sending some verbally abusive messages to the second member.
and now the whole group is divided into two parts.
needless to say, last time im going to introduce anybody anywhere, howsoever i think they are suited for each other.
two other thoughts,,, why didnt my group friends trust my judgement on that lady, and waited some more, and that i wudnt introduce somebody to the group who wud start with a spam?
and secondly, why didnt my lady friend not trust me enuf, to give them a second chance?
